Today we continue that promise with over 10 million square feet of LEED^® space completed or under construction and 93 Energy Star certified buildings nationwide. We develop green office, industrial and warehouse facilities, retrofit existing buildings and even operate our properties in an environmentally sensitive way. We believe that high-performance green buildings are not just good for the planet, they create economic value for our tenants, shareholders and employees.

Liberty currently has 47 LEED projects completed or under construction. In recognition of our commitment to sustainable development, Liberty was awarded the U.S. U.S. Green Building Council's 2006 National LEED Award for Corporate Leadership, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties 2007 Green Development Award, CoreNet Global's 2008 Sustainability Leadership Award for Design & Development, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties 2008 Developer of the Year Award.

In addition to receiving a Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Green Star, Liberty was awarded the 2011 National Association of Real Estate Investment Trust's Leader in the Light Gold Award – Small Cap, the highest honor available for our category. We also earned the prestigious 2012 Energy Star Partner of the Year by the EPA in recognition of our hard work and accomplishments in energy management.
